- I believe for a great promise to be fulfilled in my life but have often found struggle in the waiting. From time to time, I find it difficult to feel joy in tough times. It was also difficult to press on when I seemed to be making no ground. In this book, 'God Where Are You', John Bevere lays out steps on how to remain focused on the Promise and to grow while waiting. His writing style allows me, as the reader, to feel the words are speaking directly to me. The chapter questions allowed me to dig deeper and get even more out of the book.

Through John's words, God encouraged me to walk in the season of wilderness. I wanted to read this book since John began posting words about the wilderness season in social media, because I could identify with many of the things he said.
After reading the book I find myself encouraged and understanding more about the current season. - I have been struggling with feeling hopeless. I want things to change. I want to see God’s promises to me, fulfilled, but they aren’t happening! I see nothing but ground. This book has helped me realize, as the scripture says, “God’s ways are not my ways. His thoughts are not my thoughts.†It will all come to pass, in God’s time. In God’s way. I highly recommend this book to anyone struggling with the desire to move God along a little faster to conform to OUR timing, not his. - As always, Bevere cuts to the heart of the ussue.. our hearts. When we wander into the wilderness, do we blame God, look to self, whine and complain. Or do we look to Him?
