"The Archer family has become near and dear to my heart from the Wild West Frontier Bride Series. They have strong family ties, but they also care deeply about others. It is a family with strong family ties and moral values. The story is about Tarragon Archer and includes her life working at the post office and meeting Matthew Burns. The story can read well as a stand-alone and even better if you read the other stories of various Archer children. Welcome to Tombstone, Arizona, which is a growing town that is advanced with culture and technology.

Tarragon works at the post office and is concerned about another letter addressed to Felicia Lowry that has gone unclaimed. She decides it will be an act of kindness to return all them to the sender, Matthew Burns in Denver, Colorado. What a shock when Matthew shows up in Tombstone and stops by the post office and meets Tarragon. Overhearing a conversation of her needing to learn Morse Code, he will offer her tutoring, and she will agree to assist him and to try to locate Felicia Lowry. He must attempt to locate Felicia before he and his aunt can sell the mine left to them by his late grandfather.

The story is an emotional one, with anger, rejections, and angst. It compares the differences in families and will even come with redemption and forgiveness for another family. Sometimes answers leave more questions and pain as Matthew will experience. It is also two people who during a short time of being with each other develop feelings. What will happen with Matthew’s three weeks are up and he needs to return to his life in Denver?

“It’s been my experience that in life, you never know how things are going to turn out. Even when you think you do, it sometimes turns out differently than you’d imagined.” --Mrs. Allen

The story ends with mixed emotions for some, but with resolutions nonetheless.

“Love requires courage and is not for the faint of heart. But the rewards are immeasurable, I promise.”"

Tarragon Bride of Archer Ranch A Sweet Western Historical Romance Wild West Frontier Brides Book 10 edition by Cindy Caldwell Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

  • I chose this book because I have read all of the other stories in this series. Cindy Caldwell didn't disappoint. Another great read . I love reading each of the girls story and keeping up with the rest of the family at the same time.
My only complaint was that i wanted to know more about Matthew and his mother's story. I guess I just want more because her writing is just that good.
  • Another Archer sister seeks her place in the world and finds her strength in work iung hard to learn all the while helping others to find family and love.
  • I really love the Archer bride series and this is a wonderful addition to the family. Tarra and Matthew really clicked (Morse Code) and the way that they supported each other was so sweet. I would recommend reading this book and all the books in the series.
  • Another fun adventure weaving its way through the past. Learning about the interesting people jobs and towns is an adventure itself!
  • Another great story in this amazing series! What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. Reading this book was time well spent!

  • If you are looking for a clean, sweet and romantic book, this is definitely a book for you. Tarra is a gal who has been admired by not only her family but by all of Tombstone as she is the unofficial "postmaster" in all ways that count. Granted, for a long time she sorted, filed and delivered messages and mail but, now the telegraph has come to town. Could she learn Morse Code? Would she have a job now that an official Postmaster had been appointed? What would she do if she couldn't learn about telegrams and messages? These are the questions in the story and the wonderful man who became her tutor to learn these skills. The story-line is interesting and I enjoyed all the characters that are "family" to the Archer girls.
  • Matthew arrives in Tumbstone after receiving letters back that he’s sent. Tarragon (Tarra) who works at the post office has sent them. She’s been very happy with her job until she heard she has to operate the new telegraph machine. Can these two help each other, finding the person he looks for and learning to use the telegraph machine?
I really enjoyed this story, the sweet romance and the value of family, blood or others. This is a great series, and I’m looking forward
    to read Pepper’s story
I received this book from the author and voluntary provide this honest review.
